Ended up at Wild Bill’s. Got a cigar, an old fashion, seshin’. Today, I went to LT-Novi for Flow @ 08:30. Colette taught it, and it was 75 mins. I was tired, since I stayed up late. But, was determined to see the day through. I stuck around afterwards to observe Deborah’s class at 10:30. I underestimated how sweaty and tired I was going to feel. But, I survived. And then, I drove to Bloomfield Hills to observe Slowburn at 12:45. I was struggling through that observation. It was so calmn, and I was pretty beat. But, I survived. I grabbed some hydrate powder from the cafe with the game plan to go to the pool and swim. I thought I was going to rally. I did change but then Meems told me he was down to connect. I ended up changing and linking up with him. Feeling a bit grimey, but that’s how it ended up. I headed towards Sterling Heights and grabbed food at Sushi Art. I overindulged, but damn it was good. Linked up with JZ at Dodge Park. They changed this park, it’s legit. Wasn’t like this the last time I was here.

Yesterday, I went to DCC and SUAW. It was great to reconnect. Although I wanted to work on my finances and homework for YTT. I decided to put my efforts towards getting my blog reconfigured.

I ended up with this site using Hugo. I ditched Jekyll. I don’t like how the new updates moved the Themes inside the gem. Instead of in the new site directory.

So, I had ChatGPT help me make this site.

It helped me architect the posts, so I can have general blog posts, and develop series around projects. I set up one folder in /projects called “skew”. The inventory management app. Play on the words “sku”.

Then, I renamed my financial app again for my indie devlog to “churn”. Now, I can log things under the specific projects. Going to test out Hugo’s capabilities with a few things.

Ultimately, I’m moving forward.

The next step is to host this in a Repo under my personal Github, and get it deployed to the server, probably via SFTP and make necessary DNS updates.
